The UP 49ers is one of the few organizations in UP blessed with a different type of tambayan - complete with its own walls, windows, roof and of course doors. This is located outside the Engineering Building, beside the pilot plant and the UP Tennis Court. Inside and out of the tambayan, there are lots of activities in store. For the sports fanatic, there aree UP 49er basketball and badminton courts. Facilities such as electric fans, television, lockers, computers, radio and other useful stuff are also available. In addition, we have our own water dispenser. But the most important is the academic cabinet that is filled with intellectually stimulating materials like refernce books, sample exams, and other readings which are essential in studying. All there make the UP 49ers tambayan the best place to stay.
